Project Description: LRA provided design/build services for the construction of two 60’ x 80’ x 20’ pre-engineered buildings totaling 9,600 sq. ft. The scope of work included site engineering, demolition & removal of approximately 12,000 sq. fl. Of 10” concrete, pouring a 6” concrete slab with 3 recessed pits for 12 stainless steel vats & installing industrial waste lines, domestic plumbing, compressed air system & two 3 ton gantry cranes. Also included were three exhaust systems to remove vapors from the vats through stainless steel ducts that led to three cleaning towers. Four 35,000 CFM makeup air systems to maintain negative air pressure, a 750 KVA transformer & primary tie-ins & a complete secondary electrical, fire alarm & sprinkler system were installed for each facility.
