AMERICUS, GA (July 31, 2020) – LRA Constructors, Inc. has recently started work to construct a new elevator and walkway connecting to the English Building on the campus of Georgia Southwestern State University. The project includes new construction of an elevator tower and covered walkway connecting to the second floor of the adjacent building.
“We are excited to be back working on the GSW campus,” said Jason Burnette, project manager. “We look forward to working closely with facilities and Studio 8 Design to complete this important project on the active campus”.
As construction manager, the company is partnering with GSW, Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia and Studio 8 Design. The team will utilize its self-perform services for concrete related work.
The company has previously worked with GSW, having recently completed renovation projects at the Education Center. Additionally, the company has other active projects in the Americus area with Sumter EMC, Americus First United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church Americus.
